Recently Verhoeckx Afbouw completed a notable project at Volker Wessels’ head office in Amersfoort, Netherlands. “Notable” may be a bit of a misnomer, as it’s invisible when it is not in use.
The area in the image above, which is used for weekly meetings and internal courses, has is semicircular, so not exactly ideal for a conventional projection screen. In order to create a projection-friendly surface, the wall was treated, on both sides, with Mighty Brighty projection screen paint. The total area covered was more than 350m2. Now images can be projected on either side of the wall, as can be seen below. Due to the size of the surface, the installer chose to spray the paint instead of rolling it, resulting in a very professional look.
As soon as a meeting ends, the projector is turned off and there’s no evidence of any kind of projection screen.
About Mighty Brighty
An image projected on Mighty Brighty Projection Screen Paint has much better contrast and brightness than that of a plain white wall. In fact, it exhibits the same quality as a professional projection screen. Further the screen is always the size and aspect ratio for any projector and is invisible when not in use.
